Gene has experience treating a broad range of mental health issues. Having been in recovery from substance abuse since 1993, Gene has a passion for working with those suffering from addiction, as well as anger, anxiety, depression and PTSD. Gene has a humanistic approach to therapy and is compassionate and caring. He earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Humanistic Psychology, is a member of the Psi Chi: National Honor Society in Psychology, the Rho Chi: National Honor Society and is an Internationally Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor. In addition, Gene serves as the volunteer mental health treatment advisor for Waterford Regional Veteran’s Court. Gene has helped numerous people find their own individualized path to recovery from addictions and to achieve wellness and better living. Gene treats adults and adolescents, as well as providing family and couple’s therapy
