Elizabeth T. MS, LPC, NCC, CAADC
My goal as a therapist is to offer a comfortable and safe environment to assist my clients through struggles they may face. I strive to provide an empathetic, understanding, and nonjudgmental environment that fosters a positive therapeutic relationship. As each client is unique, my therapeutic style is integrated, with a foundation in both EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Processing) and Cognitive Behaviors Therapy, in order to meet those needs.
I received my Bachelors degree in Interpersonal Communications and my Masters degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Credentialed as both a CAADC - Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and NCC - National Certified Counselor and in combination with a past history as a teacher, I strive to provide clients with information that educates and empowers them. Helping others help themselves is my goal.
I provide therapy to adolescents, and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and other mood disorders as well as addiction. I additionally facilitate group therapy and teach the Women’s Empowerment didactic lectures. I am passionate about issues surrounding co-dependence and setting healthy boundaries. In my spare time, I own a Martial Arts Studio and enjoy integrating some of those skills into issues of self-empowerment.
