Rhett Reader, LMSW, CADC I Veteran I Founder | Catalyst for Change
A University of Michigan alumnus and U.S. Air Force Veteran, Rhett Reader doesn’t just provide therapy—he builds ecosystems of mental health recovery. As the co-founder of Milford Counseling and It Is Possible Sober Living, Rhett has spent nearly two decades on the front lines of the mental health and substance abuse epidemic. His mission is as bold as it is clear: to transition from the 25,000 lives already impacted to a legacy of 100,000 served.
Rhett’s approach combines clinical rigur with the grit of a veteran. Beyond his private practice, he is a dedicated advocate for those who served, founding the Friends of the North Oakland County Veterans Treatment Court and developing elite mentorship programs for military personnel. He believes that mental health and addiction recovery isn't just about the absence of struggle; it’s about the presence of a high-performance lifestyle. Through his writing and leadership, Rhett teaches that when we stop settling and start "going for it," the results are nothing short of extraordinary.
