Leah L. CADC-HS
My role at Milford Counseling is a case manager where I aim to have a compassionate approach to support individuals on their journey to mental wellness. I am also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. I strive to deliver a unique perspective by combining discipline and resilience with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those in need of support. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan-Flint and committed to enhancing my knowledge and skills to better serve my clients. My academic pursuits are complemented by my ambition to achieve a CADC-DP which will empower me to address both mental health and substance use issues. I am deeply passionate about helping people navigate their struggles. With my military and ABA therapy background, I try to foster a sense of understanding and trust with my clients. I believe in the power of empathy and open communication, recognizing that each individual's journey to recovery is unique. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive case management, coordinating services, providing resources, and advocating for clients' needs to facilitate a path toward recovery and stability. My commitment to continuous personal and professional growth reflects a deep-seated belief in the potential for change and healing for every individual. With a blend of lived experience, academic knowledge, and a heart for service, I work to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, embodying the very essence of compassion and dedication in the field of mental health. In my free time I enjoy, spending time with loved ones, traveling, physical fitness, listening to music, and growing my faith.
